Join us on January 21 as we begin rehearsals for our Spring Concerts. The concert is tentatively entitled “Comfort Tunes” because of the eclectic blend of beautiful, high-quality and eminently satisfying program of choral music. “Agnus Dei” from Tomas de la Victoria’s “Missa Alma Redemptoris” as well as two pieces by current composer Morten Lauridsen are among the lovely music selections. Also highlighted are works by Faure, Brahms, G. Gabrieli, Biebl, Barber and Bobby McFerrin. The concert will conclude with a set of wonderful spirituals including Ben Allaway’s “Freedom Come.” All are invited to join! There are no auditions and a modest fee for membership and music.
